Sometimes you just know when you've met the right person to represent you in one of the biggest sales of your life. In our case, I was selling my childhood home and was lucky to find a local realtor that was on top of the status of the local inventory, knew what buyers were looking for, what price would work and was able to get multiple offers the day the property was listed. Karen was able to guide us through the complete process, making sure everything was done when it needed to be done, communicating any questions the buyers had and was always sensitive to our emotional attachment to the home. There should be a sixth star for Karen. The value Karen brings to the Agent/Client relationship is far in excess of what she is paid. Her advice is sound and I feel every recommendation she gave to me in prepping the house and staging paid for itself many times over. Although my place was only 10 yrs old, it had aged. Karen recommended the biggest bang for my buck approach, from little details (cabinet knob changes) to the largest (repainting the bottom floor) I felt the house became memorable. She helped with declutter strategies and picked out a new color scheme. The house needed a fresh look, but I didn't realize it. It wasn't change for change sake, it was change that spoke to buyers. She even showed up in a snow storm to dig a path so the painters could get into the house while I was out of town. Who does that? Her assessment of the market was spot on and I accepted a greater that full price offer. I would recommend Karen without hesitation. She knows real estate and knows how to stage and sell a house.

I would recommend Karen to anyone buying or selling a house. It was difficult for us to sell a long-owned family home but Karen assisted us all the way, from a "pre-look" advising us what should be done in order to present the house in its most favorable light (declutter, declutter and clean) through the actual closing, she made the whole situation much easier for the family to deal with.
